The City of Chicago’s Public Library Foundation reached out to us to assist them in producing a promotional commercial for their One Book, One Chicago program. OBOC is a city wide, multiple-event book club dedicated to engaging local Chicago residents to participate in the joy of collective reading and shared experience.
We were tasked to conceptualize and create a video that promoted 2024’s selected novel, Tomorrow & Tomorrow & Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin. With nothing more than the prompt of, “a promo that involves video games and the library” our team crafted this video to show the magical experience of visiting the library and the wonders of reading.
Working in collaboration with CPL’s marketing team, this project was completed in 2 months from start to finish. Once posted, the video garnered over 40,000 views on just their Instagram, a 700% increase compared to their average post engagement. They also received over 5,000 new followers.
